What is a sincere longing for reality?

In order to be sincere, it cannot come from outside. It can’t be something I put on because it is expected of me by peers, by admirers or by those I admire. It must be genuine, emanating from within, having nothing to do with outside perception.

A longing is an inner drive that does not tire. It lasts; it goes long. It replenishes itself like water that falls over a waterfall, never running dry.

Reality is that which is truly present without interpretation or imagination.

Therefore, a sincere longing for reality is a natural, intrinsic motivation that keeps one open, spacious and present.
