How does one lose interest in ‘me’ and ‘my life’?

The quote says:
“… realize fully the immense sorrow of your life and revolt against it …”

What is the immense sorrow of this life?

I don’t want to write something that I have learned is sorrow, even if that answer is the truth of it. (“The Untethered Soul” teaches that thinking is suffering.)

I need to see sorrow as sorrow.

As long as I see sorrow as my survival, I will not revolt against it.
